Cool blog and hope to see you both in Atlanta in June. How about some updates? Hunting, fishing, surviving? If your getting any snow I would love to see some pictures.
I must say I am enjoying this blog and all the pics of your Alaskan life! It's amazing the knives you both make and the wildness of your surroundings. I am a knifemaker too, and I enjoy living in the hills as well, but I believe you two have me beat on both fronts! Are you still blogging anywhere? Looks like mostly older material here. Anyway, my name is Salem Straub, I see on Bladeforums that DesRosiers knives will be at the 2014 Seattle show so I'll probably see you there. Thanks again for the quality entertainment!
We are a newlywed couple who met through our shared love of bladesmithing. We'll be posting pictures and videos of the everyday adventures that are had when you're a couple of knifemakers living in the Alaskan bush. There will be fishing and hunting, wasting of ammunition and trail hacking with occasional swordplay. We hope you'll enjoy.
Swooooosh! nice cut!! I did not have my Denali with me ( it was in your care):-) when I had my buck hanging...next time!
